Creating Accessible Materials

In col­lab­o­ra­tion with The Uni­ver­si­ty of Iowa Cen­ter for Excel­lence in Devel­op­men­tal Dis­abil­i­ties and Uni­ver­si­ty of Iowa Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­o­gy Ser­vices, the East­erseals Iowa Assis­tive Tech­nol­o­gy Pro­gram is excit­ed to offer a new online course: Cre­at­ing Acces­si­ble Mate­ri­als!

Cre­at­ing Acces­si­ble Mate­ri­als” offers an intro­duc­tion to acces­si­bil­i­ty fun­da­men­tals, steps to ensure dig­i­tal acces­si­bil­i­ty and a list of resources. The course is free, self-paced and inde­pen­dent, with­out instruc­tor feed­back or cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. We will be releas­ing an addi­tion­al ver­sion of the course in Spring 2021, which will include oppor­tu­ni­ties for instruc­tor feed­back, CEUs and spe­cial­ized training.
