This law adds occu­pa­tion­al ther­a­pists to the list of approved health care pro­fes­sion­als that can diag­nose and treat con­cus­sions for high school ath­letes that occur dur­ing inter­scholas­tic activ­i­ties. This bill passed the Sen­ate unan­i­mous­ly and the House on a 91 – 2 vote.
